Cannas thrive with consistent moisture. Water deeply once or twice a week, increasing frequency during extended dry spells or if growing in outdoor pots.

What are good companion plants for these canna lilies?

They pair beautifully with sun-tolerant caladiums, ornamental grasses, petunias, and sweet potato vines to create depth and texture in garden beds.

How do I store the tubers over winter in colder regions?

Store cleaned, dried rhizomes in a cool, dark, frost-free space packed in dry peat moss or sawdust until warmer spring temperatures return.

What type of fertilizer works best for continuous blooms?

Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer at planting time, followed by a liquid bloom-booster fertilizer every few weeks during the peak growing season.

Can these plants be grown successfully in pots?

Yes, their sturdy, medium growth habit makes them an excellent choice for large containers on sunny decks, porches, or patios.
